While these wood sets are NOT Radio Active, and not actually from Chernobyl, the cool color deserves a cool name. These are AUTHENTIC Used Russian Soviet AK stock sets . They have been refurbed with a lemon blonde color. All buttstocks will have the groove. The condition of the wood is used as well as the metal, these are perfect for those on a budget or just looking for a more look of an aggressive rugged look. Due to the nature of the product there is no refunds/exchanges..

All stocks sets come with a complete Buttstock (Buttplate, Trapdoor , and Sling swivel installed), lower handguard, and upper handguard.

Russian Bakelite grips are available.

Absolutely gorgeous stock set

The Chernobyl stock set i received from Soviet Stocks is absolutely gorgeous, out of all of the wood sets i have, this very quickly became my new favorite. My friends who are kalashnikov enthusiasts, that i have shown it to, have absolutely fallen in love with it. Buy with confidence. The only regret I have is that I didn't purchase another set, it is well worth the money!

Nicer than I thought.

The description seems to imply that these might be in rough condition, however it was in very nice condition. Good buy.

Excellent furniture.

Got this set in this week and I couldn’t be more happy with it. Everything arrived in better condition than described and looks excellent on my rifle. I really love the unique color in this set, the wood really pops against the fresh black finish on my kr103. Upper hand guard did require some fitting, but I know that is to be expected. Excellent quality at a great price and arrived within a week, this was definitely a good pick for me.

Way better than expected

I ordered this set just needing the handguards for my bulgy side folder but when I opened the package the whole set was much nicer than I thought it would be. Yes there are some blems in the finish but no gouges or chips in the wood. I ended up putting this set on my Izhevsk 74 and couldn't be happier.

Way better looking than I thought and the wood is quality, not soft. Looking forward to kitting out my WASR 10 V2 and replacing the crappy polymer furniture it came with. This is a perfect candidate for doing just that.

Good Wood

Pleasantly surprised with this for sure! My VSKA came with synthetic furniture and really made the rifle feel cold. This set brightens the whole thing up and gives the rifle a soul. I did do a little bit of filing on the stock to help with fitment, although I probably should have done more it took a few slams to get it in and I will probably have a significantly difficult time removing it, should I want to. It looks so nice tho, I really don’t think it’s going to be a problem :) it is a shame I can’t upload a photo. One last note; when I initially looked at this set, it looked like the pins in the wood were also made of wood. I am happy to say they are brass so I don’t think there will be any durability concerns at all. If you are thinking about it, think no further and get the set. It will look great on your rifle.

Really cool!

Awesome set of wood! The color is excellent and the hardware has a sweet patina. Definitely a good buy and a great value, can't wait to fit it to my Vepr AK74.
